This is really fun book for kids for a lot of great reasons. First, the idea that something can be both big and small will fascinate them. It's told through the eyes of an aircraft carrier, so it covers ships, sailors, aviation and even the ice cream they serve in the galleys. The younger kids will love the pictures and explanations. For kids 8-10, there is plenty of text to practice their reading. My kids love the book and they had a million questions. The added bonus is that it's written by a naval aviator - great stuff!
