Salvador's fifth studio project finds the Latin-pop-rock band redefining its musical identity. Attendant to several personnel changes, the group has shucked the horn-heavy soul-jazz-rock fusion that begged comparisons to Blood, Sweat & Tears, opting instead for a more Santana-reminiscent sound. The musicians say that this more closely represents their live sound-something critics hear so often it's become a cliché, except that in Salvador's case, it happens to be true.
