Let me just say that these guys are amazing! Their musical abilities and Nic's vocal abilities surpass the generalizations of traditional "Christian music" as they add vibe and soul and jazz and a little bit of latin to their music. And of course, the lyrics are breathtaking and thought-provoking. The moment I heard the first song on the CD, I fell in love all over again. My favorite track on this album is "This is my life". Salvador brings back their own original flavor through personally written songs with awesome musical accompaniment (for the exception of "Heaven" because it's a Los Lonely Boys hit song). I was not as excited about the "Heaven" song like a lot were simply because I already have Los Lonely Boys CD. I did love that they ended with a live recording of "La Palabra". Overall, it is another Salvador hit and yet another to add to my collection.

Salvador's fifth studio project finds the Latin-pop-rock band redefining its musical identity. Attendant to several personnel changes, the group has shucked the horn-heavy soul-jazz-rock fusion that begged comparisons to Blood, Sweat & Tears, opting instead for a more Santana-reminiscent sound. The musicians say that this more closely represents their live sound-something critics hear so often it's become a cliché, except that in Salvador's case, it happens to be true.
