This Book is a hazard and a huge liabilty suit waiting to happen.
The author instructions tell the reader to add the water to the lye crystals. This is a big no no and will result in a volcanic reaction as the water hits the lye. Always, always add the lye to the water.
Secondly the measurements are given in volume not weighted measurements. In order to correctly calculate the lye needed you must have the weight of oils not their volume.
Thirdly she states that all lye and water measurements are the same for each recipe. Without a lye calculator to check this you could end up with lye heavy soap.
