All Music Guide - Scott Yanow
Since tenor saxophonist Pete Christlieb had been a member of Bob Florence's Limited Edition for a long period, it seemed right that he would have Florence's orchestra record for his Bosco label at one point. The leader's six originals all have his typically distinctive and unpredictable arrangements, along with solo space for Kim Richmond on soprano, altoist Lanny Morgan, the tenors of Bob Cooper and Christlieb who are both featured on "Jeff N' Jeff", trumpeter Warren Luening, and baritonist Bob Efford. Worth searching for by fans of modern big bands.
