Meet the Author

Simon Kuper's first book, Soccer Against the Enemy, won the William Hill Prize for Sports Book of the Year in Britain. He writes a weekly sports column in the Financial Times, and has previously written Soccer columns for the Times and in the Observer. His most recent book Soccernomics, co-authored with economist Stefan Szymanski, has been called "the most intelligent book ever written about soccer." (-San Francisco Chronicle) and is a current bestseller.
