Yet these make such an important difference in the classroom. Creative assignments can enhance lessons, spark student interest, and serve as assessments of genuine learning that tests do not always measure" "Based on the highest levels of Bloom's taxonomy, The Social Studies Helper easily integrates technology into every core high school social studies course as well as two electives. Creative assignments are designed to appeal to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles as the students are immersed in research, role-playing, art, and other activities. This book also offers tips for differentiation, as needed, with a particular emphasis on modifications for special education students who have processing difficulties" This is the resource book that teachers will turn to again and again throughout the school year. The Social Studies Helper is all the help needed, with innovative activities and projects, along with corresponding rubrics and handouts that are ready for use.
