Meet the Author

Leigh Takata is a California native who grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta. Her writing career began at a young age with a passion for poetry. She was on her high-school's literary magazine staff and was published in her college's literary magazine on numerous occasions.
Takata wrote a contributing chapter for Social Media in Context about 'checking in' using Facebook and Foursquare.
She has published several articles for the Atlanta Jewish Times around food writing and volunteering with food organizations in the Atlanta area.
This is Takata's first book and she hopes to have many more to come.
Takata is a graduate of Kennesaw State University's Masters in Professional Writing program.
