The social foundations of technology is a newly established interest area of sociology and of course, contributions have only recently been made in this area. Computer supported work for instance has led to the development of innovative organizational processes based on technological developments and new communications. In particular the focus is centered on the perspectives of such networking entities and their many varied implications. The book links sociology with technology and will certainly lead to wider discussions of the above issues.
