Soft Skills at work is a multimedia product that contains a printed workbook and a CD containing live-action videos. With this innovative product, students will develop the soft skills necessary to land a job and thrive in their careers and within the workplace. The accompanying printed workbook gives students a conceptual framework for evaluating video segments and applying skills such as interviewing, teamwork, and presentation skills to their own lives.
Beverly Amer is on the faculty of the W. A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University, where she has taught computer information systems, management information systems, and accounting courses to thousands of students over the past fourteen years. Her passion is helping students connect their classroom learning experiences to professional work and business environments. Beverly also is the author of Computers in Our World, 2nd Edition, and owns a media production company that specializes in creating realistic business case studies and video-based materials for the higher education market.
