    What a Wonderful Lot of Information for a Green Home

    My dream home is a green home, so I'm always looking out for info to help make the place as sustainable and energy efficient as possible. Often people think that green homes must be ultra expensive, not with elbow grease, innovation, and friends to help. I've seen really fine cottages and homes made with materials costing between $500 and $10000, amazingly and the one from the EarthShip folks for $10000 was the size of an efficiency but sold for $250,000.

    My goal is not to get rich quick, but simply invest my time wisely to optimize my existence in the most practical way. Solar on a small home need not cost a fortune and this books shows how to do really great things like make a panel to track the sun to maximize the energy obtained, a parabolic dish concentrator, and a solar cooker.

    There are so many people strapped by the economy and becoming homeless, I wish more could discover Barnes and Noble to make life affordable.
