This book is of no use to anyone running Solaris 10. There is no mention of new utilities such as inetadm, svcadm, etc. I can't understand how this could be called the 'Complete Reference'. I found this book to be a complete waste of money. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

This book is missing a lot of key topics that are included in the new release of Solaris 10. There is no mention of the new command line programs to manage services (i.e. svcs, svcadm, inetadm), new run levels, etc. The book does cover a lot of obsolete and extinct commands and concepts. Was this review helpful?
