    Lyrically moving

In a word, this score is haunting. While watching "Solaris" in the theater a few weeks ago, I found myself holding my breath, hoping for Cliff Martinez's luminous central melody to surface once more before the movie ended. The minimalist music treads softly throughout the film, perfectly ambient and pure. I love it. It's remarkably reminiscent of U2 a la Brian Eno. If you're looking for something simple, moving, and seductively irresistible, this is your score.
