It is a nice solitaire game. The only problem I have had with it, is it freezes the deal pile now and again, if you hit undo a couple times you can continue the game. The other thing is, it is very hard to win the hand. I only win about 1 out of 20 hands. If you don't mind losing a lot, it is worth the price.

Relaxing and fun. Never froze once. If you rest your hand on the screen while moving a card, it will act as if it is freezing. Touch only with one finger tip.

Hey, guys! I'm totally disagree with bad reviews about this app. I've been stuck with this game for weeks and never had any problems I use Nook Color and very satisfied with the quality of this game. Great time waster and worth the penny spent! Nice!

Let¿s face it -- Klondike Solitaire is not a productivity application, regardless whether you play it on your physical desktop with pasteboards, the built-in Operating System version on your desktop or laptop computer, or on a tablet device. It was created to waste time. Years ago, I found a dedicated electronic Solitaire game in a junk box at a flea market, and it ate many idle hours commuting on the bus ¿ at least until I found a Blackjack game at another swap meet. Not long after I bought my NOOK Color in May, 2011, I purchased Agile Fusion¿s Solitaire. If you haven¿t heard of them before, Agile Fusion helped create the NOOK Color¿s Graphical User Interface. Taking full advantage of the NOOK¿s high resolution (1024 X 600) screen and 16 million colors, it¿s a sumptuous feast for the eyes. It offers three card themes; one apparently designed for portrait use and two detailed classic designs. You also have your choice of nine table themes, ranging from two simple color gradients, textures including marble and various 'bubbles', and my favorite, the blond wood slats. One may choose play single or three card deal, place the stack on the left or the right, select difficulty (easy or hard) and Standard or Las Vegas scoring. There are also options to turn on sound effects (annoying) and background music (pleasant). Game play is slick and smooth, for the most part. Tapping on the stack deals the next card(s) and one may gently guide a card where it is desired. To use the automatic move, a double-tap makes (one hopes) the best play. This often means the foundation stacks, which may not always be the best strategy. If you are stuck, the on-screen hint throws you a life-saver (guess what icon that function uses) but it basically reviews obvious moves or hits the next deal, and does not make strategic plays such as plundering the foundation stacks. Make no mistake, though; Agile Fusion¿s Solitaire is a one-trick pony: it plays Klondike and that¿s all it does. AF offers Spider and FreeCell Solitaire as separate apps, at about a buck a piece. My one complaint is with a functional handicap the app has. Occasionally, well into a given hand, the game freezes and will not respond to touch. The Undo, Hint and Settings controls work normally, and the most effective way to unstick the cards is to minimize the game, and then recall it from the NOOK¿s main screen. The game usually unlocks on the first try and works fine for the rest of the hand. Aside from this fluke -- probably a memory leak in the program -- it¿s a great app, and takes my 3-*** rating. It¿s certainly worth the dollar or two it will cost you. Buy it. Pros: Beautiful, playable, customizable and inexpensive. Cons: Only one flavor of Solitaire, weak hints and random lock-ups.

When a new game is starting, the game closes and kicks me back out to the desktop, probably 3-4 times before a new game will 'stick'.

I love the game but when ever I try to start a new game the program shuts down and sometimes freezes my entire nook. What gives?

On my Nook tablet, I will select New Game (within Options), and the app would deal a new hand, then close (and I would be returned to my library). After a few attempts to deal a new game, I would eventually get to start a new hand.

Overview
A relaxing game of Solitaire awaits you with this app. Perfect for wiling away the minutes on the train to work or waiting in the car for soccer practice to end, this game is simple but engaging and a true favorite among many casual players. Play with the sweet, relaxing sounds of ancient Asian-inspired music and pick among three card designs to customize your game experience. A choice of standard or “Vegas” scoring...
