When London bride Emma Chauncey finds her fiance and one of her bridesmaids in a compromising position, she calls off the wedding. At her father's urging, Emma and her best friend take her honeymoon trip to a villa in Italy. It's here Emma meets Dario de Luca, a wealthy count and famous shoe designer. Dario's family is pressuring him to marry a girl they've chosen, but he wants to find his own love. Dario is staying at the villa "in disguise" in hopes of meeting a woman who will love him for him - not for his title, wealth or fame. The sparks fly at Emma and Dario's first meeting. Their passion and relationship blossom, but Dario's family, his keeping his true identity a secret, and her ex-fiance all cause problems. Emma must find the strength to forgive Dario and embrace the love they share. Jillian Chantal's Solo Honeymoon is a superb read. Her dialogue and settings are incredibly well-done. Her secondary characters are delightfully written. Emma and Dario are easy to love. I love Emma's strength and conviction, and Dario has such a sexy confidence. Together, they make this novel a page turner. Solo Honeymoon is a beautiful, well-written love story and I highly recommend it. Can't wait to see what Ms. Chantal gives us next! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Emma has been betrayed by her fiance Cal and her friend. Rather than wallowing in her misery, she goes on her honeymoon as a "groomless bride". At the villa she was to share with her groom she meets Dario who is clearly used to having what and who he wants. Handsome, arrogant and passionate Emma finds Dario irresistible. When her cheating former fiance shows up Emma realizes that infidelity is not his biggest flaw. Their blossoming romance goes awry when Emma finds that Dario had secrets of his own. Emma feeling betrayed once again runs only to find danger and intrigue. From London to Italy finally in New York City Emma faces life and death with Cal and Dario. Jillian Chantal takes her reader on a wild sensuous international journey. Solo Honeymoon is a great read. I give this a book five stars and recommend it to anyone looking for passion, intrigue and some good old-fashioned romance. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
