Meet the Author

Trying to figure out when I started writing is like trying to decide when I started walking. The stories have always been there, rummaging around in my mind. Some went on paper. Most didn’t. I wrote my first novel when I was 22. Thankfully, I left it to the dustbin of history where it shall always remain.

Imagine the grin, yes, it was that bad.

As for influences on my latest story, The Seduction, I’d had several of the characters in mind for a good while. The inspiration for the story, for combining all of these people, came one morning when I was listening to my woman talk about some rather convoluted relationships among a couple of her friends.

None of them followed the route of the story in The Seduction. It was the twisted nature of them that finally put a good guy in the middle to deal with them all.

I grew up in North Carolina, which is why part of the story is set there. I’ve been to exotic parts of the world, many countries, and most states. None of them I know as well as the one I called home for most of my life. It makes it easy to write about it, and the people in it.

I hope you enjoy the stories.

    Good, short read

Good, short read (one day) written from a dog's perspective. I know. Not the first book like this (i.e. - The Art of Racing in the Rain) but well done. Only complaint would be the length - more of a short story or novella.

    Short story

The story is well crafted but I feel robbed when short stories are not identified as such.

    >> Very well done. The writing in this story is exceptional. I finished it about two weeks ago and find myself thinking about it. For a novella, there is so much depth in the story; it really stays with you. A truly amazing author.
