Meet the Author

Dr. Langer is President of the American Nutritional Medical Association and is a national leader in applying nutritional research to the prevention and treatment of overweight and other medical problems. He has hosted two health-nutrition programs on cable television and has authored the book Solved: The Riddle of Illness with his present collaborator, James F. Scheer. He currently practices preventive medicine and clinical nutrition in Berkeley, California.

James F. Scheer has served as editor of two health-nutrition magazines: Let's LIVE and Food-Wise. He is now a contributing editor and writes a monthly column for Bestways magazine.
