Their attraction is sinfully delicious…

A struggling business and one act of vandalism may have brought them together, but bakery owner Chloe Nelson and professional hockey player Griffin Lange get along like chocolate and pickles. Chloe needs the famous (and famously unattached) Griffin to attract people to her pastries, and Griffin needs the curvaceous and fiery Chloe to keep him out of trouble. A fake relationship to keep the media interested seems like the perfect plan.

But when temptation throws them into bed together, a new plan arises. Why not make the fake real? Griffin's winning every home game, and Chloe's business has never been better. Both know it's only physical—and only temporary. But can they drop their defenses for love, even if it means getting a little bit sinful?

***Received from Entangled Publishing for an honest review*** Chloe's sweet, sassy, and clueless when it comes to hockey. Griffin's sexy, sarcastic, and unable to accept that someone--a woman, no less--has no idea who he is or what hockey is about. Two people from two very different worlds are thrown together. Personalities clash. Perspectives differ. Being forced to work together benefits them both. They might be stubborn but they're not stupid. Griffin knows the community service he serves in Chloe's bakery keeps his latest antics from the media, and Chloe knows Griffin's presence in her bakery can generate the customer base she needs to stay in business. Their relationship is rough at the beginning--the tone of their conversation reflects that--but watching their relationship change is incredible to say the least. Feelings evolve and attitudes change. Happy endings are reached for at the same time love is realized. Twists occur that throw the Griffin and Chloe onto opposite ends of the spectrum, but dreams and needs come into focus once again and bring them together. Ms. Terman crafts a delightful story that's equal parts sweet, sexy, and heartwarming around two people who are polar opposites destined to have a happily ever after neither of them dreamed possible.

Robbie Terman bakes up another page-turning contemporary romance in Some Like it Sinful, the second book in the A Perfect Recipe series. Griffin Lange, captain of the Chicago Brawlers hockey team, pulls off a dangerous and stupid stunt that lands him in trouble with the law. Not wanting to end up in jail, Griffin accepts a community service deal to work at Happy Ending Bakery, where he meets Chloe Nelson. When Sylvia, Chloe’s sister explains who Griffin is, Chloe determines that she needs his star power to help her new business compete with a national chain bakery. Upset he cannot buy his way out of helping Chloe, Griffin begrudgingly agrees to his commitment. He is stunned that Chloe had no idea of who was. Chloe and Griffin aren’t a couple that hits it off from the beginning, but a definite chemistry sizzles between the two of them. Their dry and witty banter provides many laugh-out-loud moments as they build friendly relationship, which keep the pages flying by. I loved that Chloe was completely clueless about Griffin’s fame and about hockey in general, adding depth to this story. Griffin never tells his teammates about his legal troubles, and when his working at Happy Ending Bakery is exposed, Griffin lies and tells his friends he is working at his girlfriend’s bakery. The PR department of the hockey team sees Griffin’s relationship with Chloe as a way to build another following for the team. Now, Griffin and Chloe find themselves in a fake relationship to help their careers. Chloe is willing to try anything and everything to make her business a success, which I could completely relate to having owned my own independent store for many years. Chloe’s fears and concerns were realistic, which really hit home with me. Even though they are pretending, Chloe realizes that her feelings for Griffin are turning into love. But, Chloe wants Prince Charming and a happily ever after, and she’s concerned that she sees too many of her father’s bad traits in Griffin. At times Griffin treats Chloe poorly while he works through his legal issues, but when he finally recognizes that Chloe is truly the one for him, it will bring a smile to your face. Another aspect to this series I’ve really enjoyed was how Chloe’s friendship with Ashton Grey-Cates and Jenna Rawley continues grow as they support each other through thick and thin. Terman does a masterful job of keeping the reader engaged and up to date with the couples from the first book, Ashton and Ty as well as Jenna and Hal, while not overpowering Chloe’s love story. Some Like it Sinful has everything I love in a contemporary romance: an engaging couple, great secondary characters, and stunning plot twists. I positively cannot wait for future A Perfect Recipe releases! I received an eBook copy from the publisher for purpose of an honest review for The Jeep Diva. I was not compensated for this review, and all conclusions are my own responsibility.

I really enjoyed this novel, it had my favorites, romance and hockey!  I enjoyed seeing how the characters develop into people who could  fall in love with each other.  A fun read!

What a super fun read.  I loved the banter between Chole and Griffin as they grew to know one another.  There is something fun about watching two stubborn people try not to fall in love.  I think my favorite character, however, was Gram.  She was not in the book often, but there was something about her that made me really connect with her.  I was glad that my lack of knowledge about hockey did not impact my enjoyment of the story.  Goodness, I know even more then Chloe about the sport.  If you are looking for a fun escape this book is probably just the ticket.  Be forewarned, though.  You will crave all sorts of yummy goodness both during and after reading this book.  I so wish her bakery really existed.  As a side note : I have not read book one in this series and I never felt like I was missing anything important.

The second book in the series was just as enjoyable as the first. Ms Terman really knows her way around a story. The only downer for me was the sports angle, hockey isn't really my thing. Chloe is a really great character and I love her snarky attitude. Griffen is a really interesting guy, he starts out kinda jerky but really grows through the book. I loved their whole story and dynamic were fun to read. They both had a long journey to find love, the second half of the book really puts you through the emotional ringer! Have tissues, lots of tissues! The narrative is a split POV, going back and forth between the main characters. I love this because you really get to see how each character is feeling. Without Griffen's POV, you might just think he is all selfish jerk, but he has way more depth to him. The steam her is really quite delicious, still more mainstream smexy than detailed erotic. They do know how to get down though!! These two a definitely in lust from the beginning, it was fun to see the sparks fly! Great visits with characters from previous book and some new supporting roles added!! Oh, please let Jenna be the next book!! I am dying to know what is going on there!! Or Taryn could be another lucky lady to find love, I see her fitting in very well with the other gals! This is the perfect read if you are looking for a sexy contemporary romance, if you are a hockey fan you are likely to love it cause it references games and practices. But if you are a non-sportie like myself you might feel like skimming those parts. Still really well written and enjoyable read that took me on a sweet journey to a charming HEA! *Disclosure - I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own.*

Although Terman doesn’t really go outside of the box with her sports-star/normal-girl romance, the journey to Griffin and Chole’s HEA has enough zing and passion to keep readers quickly turning pages. With the perfect mix of humor, sexiness and emotion, Some Like It Sinful showcases Terman’s writing talent. - Full review available at Romanti Reads and Such on Wordpress or BookTrib's website.

This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Terman, and I thoroughly enjoyed it right from the beginning. I will definitely be getting the first book in this series so I can find out how the first couple met. The exchanges that took place between the main characters were great, and many parts that had me laughing out loud. If you like steamy romances that are wrapped around sports, then you will enjoy this story.  Chloe Nelson is finally making her dream of owning her own bakery come true, but news of a bakery chain that is well known is opening up a new store down the street from her bakery that may crush her dreams. She needs to find a way to bring in the clientele and keep them coming if she wants to keep the bakery afloat. When her sister comes up with the perfect plan she is determined to try anything. Griffin Lange is the Captain of a professional hockey team, and he just got himself caught up in some trouble. When the DA offers him a deal he decides to take it instead of possible jail time. But he never expected to do anything more than put in the hours working for Chloe, then walk away when the hours are completed. To keep the truth of the real reason why Griffin is working for Chloe from the media they agree to a fake relationship that will only last until hockey season is over. They can make it look good to the public for a few months and walk away with no regrets. It will be so easy to accomplish. Right?  I received an e-ARC of this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

A hockey playing hero? A heroine who bakes for a living--and isn't afraid to sample her creations? Sign me up! I really liked this one from the very beginning. Griffin was struggling with being an older player in the NHL, and a captain who hasn't been able to bring home the Cup in quite a few years. (Though of course, being from the city that's NEVER brought it home--except for the guy who plays for a different team--it was hard to be too sympathetic!) He had a lot of pressure on him, including rookies who were looking to him for guidance. Chloe was struggling as well--starting up a new business, this time without her friends; dealing with her own poor body image issues and living under the shadow of the disaster that was her parents' marriage--it's amazing that she kept it together as long as she did. I was rooting for her from the first page. Fake relationships can make for a really fun story, and this one is no exception. I especially enjoyed the celebrity boyfriend aspect of it--that definitely added a whole new layer to the troupe. The fact that Chloe knew nothing about hockey was just too funny--Griffin needed to be taken down a peg or two, and that did it nicely. I also loved all of Griffin's sports-related superstitions. They're only weird when they don't work, right? ;) The one part--and admittedly, it was a pretty significant part of the plot--that I had a bit of an issue with was the idea that an ADA would use a celebrity's community service hours to help out her own sister. It took me a while to get past that--it just seemed a tad bit unethical. The deal eventually becomes public knowledge, though, and the resulting fallout and the characters' response definitely eased my mind. Oh, and can I just say--absolutely adorable ending? Definitely sigh worthy! Rating: B+ I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Chloe Nelson is so excited. Her dream is about to come true. Her bakery, Happy Endings, is officially opening. Her mood changes when she sees that a chain bakery is opening across the street. She's not sure that she can survive their high powered advertising. Enter her savior. Griffin Lange, sexy bad boy and Captain of the Chicago Brawlers hockey team. Because of his rash actions, he is doing community service at the bakery. Now all of Chicago thinks she's his girlfriend. They are together in every sense of the word. Is there a HEA in their future? Robbie Terman has written a well plotted story that takes some unusual twist and turns. It is a combination of hot romance, painful memories and second chances. Chloe and Griffin have endured pain and heartache. Now they're afraid to trust their heart. Their desire to take a chance on love and life captured my emotions. I enjoyed all the characters. They added humor and spice to the story. I want to know more about them. I laughed, I cried and I wanted a happy ending. A great story about a Prince Charming in training.

Chloe has finally opened up her own bakery and is ready for business. Then she discovers a huge franchise is opening up right near her. Her dreams may be over before they can get of the ground. She finds help in hockey player Griffin. He needs to help her to stay out of jail and she needs him to help her business. They develop a fake relationship to help both of them thinking nothing would come of it. However they can't keep their hands off each other thinking they can have a temporary relationship instead of a fake one. They are in the spotlight and things heat up in more ways than one. Is it a temporary fix or the real thing they have to discover the answer.  Chloe is a female character I really like. She isn't stick thin and has curves to her. She has a sense of humor, very caring and is very sexy even if she doesn't realize it. She works very hard at her job and wants it to do good. She also at times doubts herself and she wants a fairy tale to happen. Griffin is the star everyone knows and at times he lets it go to his head. He is the party guy and wants to be the center of attention. He is a very sexy man and he knows it. You also get to see he is a very caring guy and wants to help his team mates in anyway he can and he helps Chloe when he can as well. He changes a lot in this book. I really enjoyed reading this as the characters seemed real. The author does a great job creating characters you can like and understand. You feel like you are right along with them as they go about their lives. I like how Griffin has to face facts and while he is a grown man he really has to grow up in this book. He becomes a wonderful guy. Chloe has to face many things in this book as well as it seems she has many mishaps a long the way. The both of them are in the spotlight and they have to watch what they do. They have a lot of sexual chemistry and it really shows. There is also a mystery involved that you have to figure out. I did guess a bit of it but it didn't make any difference. This is a wonderful book I am sure many will love I look forward to the next book in this series as This author is a delight to read.

Chloe is a pastry chef who is opening her own bakery and Griffin is a spoiled, egotistical , rich, sexy hockey player. He does something stupid and has to do community service at her bakery. Sparks fly and their pretend girlfriend/boyfriend idea turns out to be true. There's sabotage, letting go of the past, taking responsibility and growing up. These characters are very believable , and this is a good, enjoyable story

Chloe is striking out on her own by opening her own bakery. Right before her grand opening she notices a chain bakery that is going to move in right across the street! Griffin is a professional hockey player who has spent his whole career playing around. Booze, ladies. Nothing was serious. Then he does something that just can't get swept under the rug with game tickets or money. All of a sudden Griffin finds himself promoting Chloes bakery and it turns into a fake romance. They use it as a promotion for the team and her bakery. Of course as the "fake" relationship continues they find there is something more. Will they make it work when they can't seem to be able to talk outside of the bedroom without bickering. This is a great book, with some romance, steamy scenes, and great drama. I recommend this book. My unbiased opinion was provided for a free reading.

ARC received for an honest review Although the “fake relationship” storyline has been done before. Robbie Terman gave it a very unique and interesting twist. Chloe Nelson is finally able to make her dreams come true and open up her own bakery-Happy Endings. She is very happy about the results and very confident that it will be successful because she is a talented baker. Her one little problem is that competition opens up right across the street. How can she can the public to pay attention to her bakery and not the popular chain across the street? Griffin is the captain for the hockey team the Razors. One crazy night of partying he gets into trouble. As part of his agreement he has to do hours of community service. Sylvia the assistant district attorney is sisters with Chloe. She makes a deal with Griffin he can complete his community service at Happy endings. Griffin is less than thrilled but decides that it is bettern than going to jail. Chloe is also less than thrilled to have Griffin at the store but realizes that he will bring much needed publicity to her bakery. Chloe and Griffin have great chemistry. He is the typical self confident, handsome, athlete. She is the girl next door. Nothing to out the ordinary but she provides Griffin with the challenge that he needs. When news of Griffin, the captain of the Razor’s spreads the team comes up with the idea that Chloe and Griffin should pretend to date. They explain that Chloe needs the attention and the Razors, a teaming that is continuously losing, needs a romantic story to get more fanfare. As Chloe and Griffin’s relationship intensifies they share a very intimate moment in the locker room and Griffin ends up performing better than ever on the rink. Chloe and Griffin both realize that their relationship provides mutual benefits but they both have conditions. They will be in a committed relationship until either the team finishes its season or until he completes his community hours. What follows is that both Chloe and Griffin fall in love with each other and provide each other with what they have both been searcing for the entire time since they met. This was a very sweeet and romantic story! I would re-read it and recommend it to anyone!

A fun, hot sexy read. Second book in the Perfect Recipes series but can be read as a stand alone. Loved the chemistry between Chloe and Griffin. Laughed out loud with the bantering between these two characters. Chloe, pastry chef meets Griffin, hokey heart throb when Griffin has to do community service in her bakery. Can two complete opposite people get along. This is my first book my this author and now I want to read the first book in the series. I received this ARC from the publisher for an honest review.

This was a hilarious 2nd book in the Perfect Recipe series. I received an ARC of this book and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting a 2nd book but I think I might like this one even better. I loved the authors sense of humor! The banter between the characters was so funny and was probably my fav part of the book. I liked that the female character gave as good as she got. Who doesn't like a smart ass heroine? Griffin is a hockey player nearing the end of his career and not happy about it. While at a party he tries to show off to the rookies and makes a stupid mistake that lands him in front of the D.A. She sentences him to some community service at a new bakery... Chloe has left her partnership in Sweet Home (book 1) to open the bakery she's always dreamed of. She's put everything she has into it but immediately runs into problems. Griffin begs Chloe to pretend to be his fake girlfriend to save his reputation and keep his community service a secret, Chloe agrees for the free publicity but how smoothly can it go when they bicker constantly? Can wait for Jenna & Luke's story!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This book was a great story that truly makes you want some sweet treats. Chloe being the pastry chef is a delight.  She is not meek fragile woman, but a strong sticks up for herself woman.  I loved her fire and feistiness.  She goes toe to toe with Griffin.  I loved their sarcastic bantering they had with each other.  Their chemistry was explosive and it was great to see it play out over several months with them still doubting their relationship was more than it was.  I adored the supporting characters of Ashton and Jenna.  Such great friends who were more family than most.  I liked the way Sylvia looked out for her sister Chloe.  I always love the strong sisterly bonds, whether blood related or not. This was the first book I have read by Robbie Terman and has made me want to go back to read the first one in this series.  And it definitely has me looking forward to the next one, hoping it will be Jenna's story!

Ingredients: district attorney, hockey player, baker, attraction, sex, hidden agendas, family issues, supportive friends, admiring fans, scandal, love? What do you get when you cross an entrepreneur baker with a hockey player? An exciting recipe for a successful novel. Chloe Nelson is about to open her brand new bakery when she looks across the street to find that a big chain bakery will be opening up right on the heels of her very own opening. She needs help and FAST. Her help comes in the form of a criminal of sorts...Griffin Lange who is a hot shot hockey player with legal troubles. The tension between the two is exciting to follow and the relationship, or lack of relationship is just as heartwarming. Chloe's band of friends are supportive as friends should be and Griffin's circle is formed mostly of admiring fans. A quick slip of the tongue creates a media frenzy and appearances have to be maintained for the good of all involved. There is also another love story in the making or is there? How do you find your Prince Charming when you are forced to babysit??? The adventure leading to the great reveal is wonderful and this book it delivers on many levels. This story was a pleasure to read and I look forward to reading more from Robbie Terman. Some Like it Sinful is part of her Perfect Recipe series.

Griffin is the captain of a hockey team and was showing off, wrecked a car amongst other things. He tried to get out of having jail time but there was no hope unless he agreed to 300 hours community serve. What he did know was it was at a bakery until it was to late and couldn't do nothing about it. Chloe's sister had a guy come in for community serve and he was totally hot until he started talking. Chloe had no idea who he was, let alone hockey and Griffin couldn't believe she didn't know him. Griffins PR wanted them to pretend the we're dating to help there ratings along with helping Chloe's bakery. Their pretend dating turned reality for awhile and til things started happen and Chloe called it off. Griffin didn't want to call it off but accepted her decision and still wanted to be friends. Griffin got hurt during a game and Chloe went to see him. Even if they were just friends she cared about him and didn't want to see him hurt. Griffin coach had a heart attack and he ask Griffin to coach the rest of the season because he couldn't.  Griffin got a job offer to coach another team and went and told Chloe. Chloe was going to tell Griffin that she love him until he dropped the bomb about the coaching job. Griffin knew he couldn't live without Chloe so after the won their Stanley Cup, he proposed to Chloe in front of the world.
