Overview

Lycan prince Darrius discovers his former fiancee, the once High Priestess of the Moon Goddess Order, did not die in the fire that claimed their werewolf village more than seventy years ago. Now that he knows the truth, nothing can stop him from finding Alaya ... and he tracks her down to Broken Arrow, Oregon.

What Darrius doesn't know is that Alaya made a bargain with Nemesis to save his life. The price? His love. If he ever sees her face again, he will die. Worse still, Alaya succumbed to the fire, and was saved by the priestesses, who hid her in the temple while she healed.

Soon, they discover that Nemesis's "price" has an unexpected loophole ... and their passion is rekindled. Both are ready to take another chance on each other. But Nemesis is furious the lycans escaped her wrath, so she curses them anew with Aphrodite's gold apple--a mystical object that hexes true love.

Then a very pissed-off Aphrodite appears, determined to get back her apple--and make sure the star-crossed lovers finally get their happily-ever-after.

    ...

I love the broken heart series. Every book had me laughing aloud...but there wasn't enough story in this one to satisfy. It was 60 odd pages to start and 1/3 of the book os deleted scenes! Not cool.

Did I actually pay money for this???

I love the Broken Heart books and was looking forward to Darius's story. What a disappointment. This was a throw away book on the author's part. It is almost like she made some notes about a possible plot line and that is what we got, and many many typos and other story line errors. This should have been free, then I wouldn't be so mad at myself that I paid money, not alot, but still too much for what we got. Half of the book is story line chapters she decided not to use. I didn't need to see those, didn't apply to this story, and didn't enhance it at all. I have never been disappointed with a Broken Heart story, until now.
