i just started reading this book and its great. im only on page 17 chapter three but i know it will be good. I've read atleast 20 of lurlene McDaniel's books and their all awesome. Reading these books has taught me to look at others from a different point of view. We all have staired at someone else with a deformity but have you taken the time to understand that this could happen to anyone? These people wait day after day not knowing when their time is up. They never know when its their turn to go. I would like to thank Lurlene McDaniel for writing these books to help others understand these things we never before thought about. thanks again.

This is a well researched book and is very much like the thoughts of somebody who may have received a transplant. I recommend you read this book. I could not put it down.

Just because something bad has happened doesn't mean nothing good can come out of it. Cause good things can come out of the bad and this book is a prime example.

Katie a promising runner is faced with a dilema. She has heart problems and may die. A transplant is what is needed and time is running out. While in the hospital she finds a check and a letter left by JWC. Who is JWC and why is this person giving her so much money? Josh Martel lives with his Grandfather and his only brother. Life is normal till a freak accident occurs that changes both Katie and Josh's life forever.
