Had the pleasure of hearing a preview of these tracks. Sworn to secrecy. Nearly killed me, because this is a WOW. Even for people who aren't fans, I think this is going to be a revelation. And outsell her blockbuster debut album, I Dreamed a Dream. Get the samples up B&N. People need to hear this.

Susan Boyle's new CD "Someone To Watch Over Me" is a treasure trove of vocal magic. Her first two CD's were blockbusters all over the world. This one--how could it be?--is the best yet! This is a singer annointed in the Balm of Gilead, soothing and healing, with a melodious range of power emotive expression. I had the distinct privilege of hearing four of the songs on this album and all I can say is that I was stunned by the beauty I heard in all of the four. There was not a single person there on that wondeerful day in Manhattan who heard these songs who weren't completely enthralled and excited to welcome the day of the CD release. This CD is superalive, glorious, and most welcome in these times so in need of love and beauty. Highly recommended!!

I was one of the 20 who heard the 4 tracks from this CD in New York, and all 4 of them just blew me away. This will, no doubt, be Susan Boyle's best CD release to date.

I have never before experienced a singer who can pretty much sing a song the way it was written (without all the vocal acrobatics) and yet make it her own. BTW - I believe there was only one playing of the four tracks, and I know for a fact, smartypants, that you were NOT there.

After seeing the interesting and eclectic tracklist, reading Susan's own description of her reasons for the songs chosen for this album, and listening to the incredible rendition of YHTBT, I believe this will be her best album to date. IDAD and The Gift were both stunning albums, but this one will show even more of her amazing versatility and power. Way to go, Susan and Sony!!

Susan Boyle is such a beautiful singer, it's sad that anyone would go out of their way to make up a negative comment just for the sake of doing it. The public will judge for themselves, though, and this new album will certainly be a winner. If there is one thing that is easy to know, it's that Susan does not need autotuning, so that claim pretty much disqualifies the "reviewer" who says it. The lead song, "You Have To Be There," is now out from the CD, and it is fantastic. Gorgeous.

Susan Boyle must of had singing lessons before she made this CDs. I listened to three songs off it and that was enough for me to want to run out and buy it. Her producer did a great job helping Susan make this CD. Spend your money on this one because I will be buying one too. For $10 this is a steal of a deal because this CD is worth a lot more than that. Susan said she is proud of this CD most of all and I can understand why. This is her best work so far. This CD took what felt like forever to make but its worth the wait. Even though you have plenty in the bank, don't retire that precious voice of yours Susan Boyle because our ears need to hear your voice.

I was in that room in NYC that day and heard four tracks from Susan's album. Each track was absolutely stunning. Susan has a unique talent for interpreting music and putting her own design to a song. I think this is her specialty. Her voice never sounded more spectacular. Her versatility was obvious because the style of each song we heard was different. Without a doubt this will be Susan's finest album yet.

Sony arranged for a group of 20 people to listen to 4 full tracks from the CD and I was one of them. Everyone there was blown away by what we heard. Since then we've heard 2 additional tracks and they're great. Normally I wouldn't review an entire CD based on 6 tracks, but this is without a doubt going to be Susan's most dynamic CD yet.

I Listened to 3 songs off this CD and they all lovely. She has a nice voice on her albums, but this one is better than the others. If you like Susan, you will like this album. If you are expecting a new Susan, as her PR is promoting, or the Susan from Britians Got Talent, you wont be disappointed. I will be ordering Susan's new CD because this one won't be sitting in the drawer collecting dust like a lot of the others.
