"I usually don't take the time to write a review because I read a lot of books but I am making an exception in this case. I really enjoyed this book, loved the story and the setting. My only disappointment was when I finished the book and had to get back to reality! I look forward to seeing some more of the author's work." ...

This book is a great read for anyone who likes romance and time travel. You can't help but fall in love with Brandon and wish that you were Chloe. I found that I had a hard time putting it down, I wanted to read just one more page to see what was going to happen next! The next thing I know I'm at the end of the book. Loved It!

The writing was a bit amateurish in places--the author could definitely have used an editor. (E.g. she used the word 'musky' instead of 'musty' repeatedly.) I found the story interesting, although not exactly a page turner. I might not have been invested in it because I found the characters to be somewhat immature in their behavior. Also, I'm not a big fan of time travel where the main character goes back in time into the body/identity of a person that already exists. Still, the author included some interesting aspects and details in the story and overall it was entertaining.

Days after reading Somerset....I find myself thinking of Chloe Spencer and Kenilworth Castle. I was immedeately held captive by the people and the setting of Somerset. A must read for those looking for a quick escape!
