Although "Walking" sounds surprisingly punchless for a track that replays elements of Crystal Waters' club classic "Gypsy Woman," it just about towers over the album's second half, which sags with plaintively strummed acoustic guitars and churning electric guitars. These relatively dry songs lack the edge of the album's first half. One exception is the closing "Homecoming Glory," rich folk-soul gospel with striking harmonies.
