My son is seven and loves every single Calvin and Hobbes, including this one. Sometimes Calvin (precocious 6 year old) does and says things that are inappropriate and that sparks great conversations between us. Most of the time however, Calvin just does the wonderful mischievous and playful things kids do or think about doing. These Calvin and Hobbes books have my son reading alone, have him laughing aloud, and he reads them over and over. Great reading tool, great conversation sparker, and great investment for multiple uses. I highly recommend to people with a sense of humor and who don't worry about comic characters being a bad influence on their kids. Kids can tell the difference between real life and fantasy, and books like these help them to imagine "what if", and express some of the tensions in their lives in a really fun and playful way. Highly popular with all his classmates as well. I would say not for younger than 5 or 6 years old.

This is a great book for anybody who has a long trip ahead of them, is stuck inside on a rainy day or is just bored with everything else on the shelf.

This was my first book ever. Ever since I received it in Elementary School, I never stopped reading them, even if I read them over 50 times! Ever since Something Under the Bed is Drooling, I began to collect all the Calvin and Hobbes's Books. All I need is There's Treasure Everywhere, Calvin and Hobbes, Yukon HO!, The Lazy Sunday Book, and the Tenth Anniversary Calvin and Hobbes. I just want to know is when a new Calvin and Hobbes book comes out. I want to be the first to get it.

This book is about a boy named Calvin and he has a stuffed tiger named Hobbes. Calvin imagins that Hobbes(his stuffed tiger)is alive and they do alot of adventuring around and play games like scramble&cards. There were lots of problems and solutions because it is a comic strip.

I am a huge Calvin & Hobbes Fan and I think that Watterson should continue on with the strip, it would be definitely appreciated by the readers. Something under... is another great book compared to any other comic book, but compared to most of Watterson's work, it isnt as good as There's Treaseure Everywhere, or Days are just packed.
