More About This Book

Overview

When, living in Las Vegas, ex-con-turned-famous and now Author/Musician Mike SanBorn can't come up with a storyline that sticks for his highly anticipated 3rd novel, he goes in search of SOMETHING WICKED. Soon, an ongoing story in San Bernardino, California prompts Mike to have his agent arrange a meeting with sexy, hard-nosed Detective Sergeant Heidi Frederick of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department as she recovers at St. Bernardines Medical Center-the result of a gunshot delivered by the hit-man who killed her partner/mentor a few years earlier.
The thin, grey line that defines good guys and bad guys becomes greyer still when the cop and the ex-con form an unlikely alliance and begin the hunt for Big Mike Ellis on the meth-infested mean streets of Berdoo.
No one is safe when seeking SOMETHING WICKED.

John Michael has a way with words. All authors should, but John takes it to the extreme. His descriptions are so vivid, so real, you would recognize any of his characters if you met them on a crowded street. His characters are real people, warts and all. I am an avid reader of mysteries, and usually have them all figured out way before I reach the half way point. Not so this time. Something Wicked had so many twists and turns that were totally unexpected. Just when I thought I had it all put together, he goes in the opposite directions. Very enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good action packed mystery.

    Couldn't put it down!!

An excellent read! I saw his video on YouTube, in a Seattle bathroom and thought this guy is nuts! So I bought the book. That night I too, was reading it in the bath room! John Michael has a certain comfortable power in his style of writing. He doesn't shy away from writing things that aren't politically correct; writers shouldn't. I ended up watching all of his videos on YouTube. Check him out and buy his book and in his own words, "He will entertain you, one way or another!" This guy is going to be big! Can't wait until the rest of his novels are released!
