Meet the Author

At the time of writing, I am 33 years of age, and I live in the North of England where I grew up, with my wife, Jennifer. I enjoy most sports, and I have a keen interest in cinema, music and literature.

Stories have always fascinated me, and writing my own is a way to make sense of the world. Often they are bloody meals to satisfy the creative monster living in my head.

I hope you enjoy reading them.

So make sure the doors are locked. Turn off the lights. Switch on the lamp, and settle back in your comfiest chair.

And when you’ve finished, be sure not to stare too hard into the shadows…

Lee Mather (January 2012)

    Creepy!

This was a great short. We all have something we are afraid of, something we want to forget and this story in a frightening way reminds us we cannot hide from our ow conscious. Excellent quick read.

    Reminds me of Poe

The story was a lot like an old story by Poe. With that said it was a good story.
