Overview

Sometimes being a third grader can really stink. I don’t mean that the classroom or the bus is smelly. Although, come to think of it, when Douglas, who is a fifth grader, takes his sneakers off in the bus; now that is smelly. What I mean is that some days are not that good in third grade.
Take today for example. The day started great. French toast and hot chocolate with little marshmallows were what was in store for breakfast. A kid’s day couldn’t begin any better than the smell...

Meet the Author

Karen Sipe grew up in the mountains of Pennsylvania as a dancer and a girl with imagination. She graduated from Goucher College with a Dance History and Criticism degree and a minor in Arts Administration. As every dancer knows, it is very difficult to make a generous monetary living in dance so she turned to the hospitality industry where she could still put on a show, make people smile and fill their tummies with something yummy. She now resides in the paradise of Bonita Springs, Florida with her husband, four sons, two dogs, one cat, three bunnies, one bird one turtle and a gym filled with kids. It is this circus of a life that she gets her inspiration for her childrens books.
