Christian Regency Romance
Book 1 in The Highlander Series

First an unanticipated inheritance changes Kiernan’s life.

Now his sister’s new companion is turning his world upside down.

After an inheritance makes him the Earl of Branderee, Scottish military piper Kiernan Macpherson finds himself thrust into the unfamiliar, glittering world of Regency England’s aristocracy. His greatest surprise, however, comes when he wins a run-down English estate—with the spirited sister of the previous owner still in residence!

Captivated by her beauty, inner strength, and faith, Kiernan persuades Lady Mariah Douglas to become chaperon for his sister, Jeanette. But Jeanie’s first London Season is filled with more excitement, romance—and danger—than either Kiernan or Mariah could anticipate.

And when tragic circumstances send them back to Scotland, all three must rely on God for their very survival against an unexpected foe.

This is an awesome book that I couldn't put down, and still reread frequently. The characters are so well portrayed and the storyline is really good. It has a very light Christian influence, which made it not be like most Christian books, where there's a little bit of conflict, but everything comes out ok. The romance is very dramatic, and very well written. I'd recommend this book to anyone.
