As a grandmother of a two year old, I enjoy listening to these songs with her because they bring back the time when my children loved them.

I came across this set by chance while searching for the tv version of REM's "Furry Happy Monsters", which our kids love to dance to(ok, me too), and it is jammed with wonderful tunes and artists. Now 7, 7 and 4, they still delight in these selections, especially the patter, and it's only out of the car when on loan or being played at home! Essential.

I have given this CD to 3 others in addition to buying it for my daughter... Everyone has LOVED it!!! It is a lot of fun and teaches many great concepts such as colors, counting, numbers, and spatial relationships. My daughter, husband, and I LOVE to dance and sing with the Sesame Street gang!

All the songs included are real classics. My children and I have enjoyed them for 13 years. I only wish they had included Ernie's song 'Imagine That...' . It's my favorite song on Sesame Street! All in all... its fun-listening!

I watched Sesame Street when the show first aired. This collection is a wonderful way to remember flashes of my past and my child's past. I look forward to sharing this collection with my grandchildren.

As a Mom of 3 boys ages 13 yrs, 9 yrs. and 21 months, I have loved Sesame Street and the whole gang for years! I especially love seeing and hearing famous artists perform with the Gang at Sesame Street. This CD Set brings back all the wonderful memories of past songs and singers who have graced the three block street on PBS. I was surprised to hear lots of artists I had missed on the show like Aerosmith, Johnny Cash and Melissa Ethridge. My two younger sons love to listen to this set in the car. It completely calms the toddler, which is no small feat. Even if you don't have kids but grew up yourself with SS, you should buy this set. Just don't tell your racquet ball buddies.

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? This essential three-CD box set paves the way, celebrating 35 years of sunny days with 63 songs, 25 of which are previously unreleased. The Street's diverse neighborhood is reflected in the collection's fabulous celebrity contributors, from B. B. King and Johnny Cash to Celine Dion and Destiny's Child. Disc 1 opens with the irrepressible Sesame Street theme song and then gives way to a veritable who's who of the music world. Piano Man Billy Joel serenades Oscar the Grouch with "Just the Way You Are," about the importance of being true to yourself -- even if you're grouchy -- while Aaron Neville's supple, sugar-sweet voice ...
