Songs of Peter Slyadek
Lute player Peter Slyadek walks along the paths, over and over again doomed to listen to random confessions. The monk and the judge are circling in a crazy round dance; the genie appoints himself the conscience of a cunning merchant, the son of a fencing teacher confuses the word and the sword, the iron hand of the knight creeps into the castle chapel at night, the elusive Anika the warrior brings terror to the mercenary soldiers, and finally the player in gray invites Peter to play the last game. We will meet Cassandra and Homa Brutus, the Pied Flutist and the Borgia family. Vlad Tepes will teach at the university, and Michelangelo will renounce the low craft of a sculptor in favor of the high art of a satirist poet. We will visit festive Venice and the ominous Black Wallachia, hear eerie stories about the unknown city of Guldenberg, about the cursed island of Monte Cristo, we will pass through Central and Eastern Europe, where every corner of the bear has its own myth, its miracles, its "skeletons in the closet" .
