This book legitamizes an industry that has a reputation for "cut throat" tactics. As a songwriter/producer, I buy the book every other year (starting with The 1991 edition). I have landed several publishing deals with this nifty tool. There are many, many people in this industry think success is getting a record deal and getting heavy rotation with your song and video. Eventhough this may be true, your chances remain very slim. Please don't be discouraged. But wait! There are so many other aspects of this multi-billion dollar a year industry! This book will introduce its readers to sources that usally go untapped. With real talent and professionalism, I'm sure many of you can make things happen! It is well worth the cost. All you need to do is research the market. The 2003 Songwriters Market!
