Sonny Rollins: A Monster Performance By A Jazz Legend

Fantastic Performances. One of jazz legend Sonny Rollins' best recordings: featuring what has been called one of the great solos in jazz: Three Little Words. His speed of execution, unflagging improvisational thoughts, hipness, and swing are incredible on this one. But there is much more: On Green Dolphin Street is a masterful, mysterious version with great solos by Rollins as he dips in and out, Ray Bryant on piano, and Walter Booker on bass and Mickey Roker's relentless drumming. An essential recording for your jazz collection. All performances are wonderful! Put this CD in a safe place. I own it and I recommend it highly.
