Sons of Godby Rebecca Ellen Kurtz
Sons of God tells the tale of a 3,000-year-old half-angelic, half-human female warrior who disguises herself as a treasure hunter for mythic items while hunting down her fallen brethren who've committed atrocities against mankind. But now, in the present day, some mysterious murders begin occurring at the archaeological dig at Nineveh, and she must return to face her worst mistake. The most fascinating aspect of this mythic thriller is research from the Old Testament on this supernatural race and historical accounts of these blood-drinking tribes, which introduces an alternate vampire theory. It raises the question - is this semi-supernatural race mythical or not? Sons of God has been dubbed the Da Vinci Code for Twilight, Hancock, & Indiana Jones fans.

Sons of God is a great read from cover to cover. it presents an alternate Biblical theory of vampires based on the Old Testament. The mystery of Nephelim which are half angel/half human creatures unfolds in this tale of one nephelim's search for reconciliation with her creator. In the book there are references crossing religions and time periods which make for an intriguing read. Kurtz weaves a world filled with unique diverse characters. giving a voice to the past, present and future. Each chapter flew by as I was immersed in the story, plunging me into a world of fast paced action. I am anticipating the release of the next novel in the series and more nephelim lore to be revealed!
This is a must read, it was so interesting I read the whole book in 2 days and then read it again. If you like the Harry Potter books and The Twilight series you will love this book also.
Sons of God tells the tale of a 3,000-yr-old N'filim (1/2 angelic-1/2 mortal) female warrior who disguises herself as a treasure hunter for mythic items while roaming the world hunting down her fallen brethren. This works for her until, in the present day, some mysterious murders begin occurring at the archaeological dig at Nineveh, and she must return to face her worst mistake. The most fascinating aspect of this mythic thriller is the research presented from the Old Testament and all ancient religions of the world on the N'filim - a paranormal race bred from the matings of angels and mortals - and history's account of these half-breed tribes being blood-drinkers. Shockingly, Sons of God presents an alternate Biblical theory of vampires based on the Old Testament, and questions can't help springing into your mind: Is this race myth or not? Is this where we get our myths of vampires? Is this where demons, ghosts, and spirits came from? So you're asking.....Will I get my money's worth? Absolutely! The research alone will keep you pondering things long after you put the novel down and probably ignite many conversations with your friends; and the story is filled with adventure, danger, romance, and soul baring honesty. It's a delectable, delightful ride that may just leave you in tears.
