"End-of-Life Care"...a daunting phrase and a concept that is easily put off until you or your loved one arrives at that unhappy place. Managing doctors' visits, test appointments and treatment bookings can be like jumping in and out of a revolving door that doesn't stop to let you catch up. So it was for me when my father was fighting his last battle with cancer. 'Sooner or Later: Restoring Sanity to your End-of-Life Care' is a book that will be a helpful tool for people who find themselves in that stressful situation. It will help them to sort through the information they need to process and to determine the questions they need to ask so as to allow them to participate in their own health care. It will help them to 'Restore Sanity' to their 'End-of-Life Care'.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

This book is empowering for anyone facing challenges to determine correct options for end of life care. As the author says, it's a no-man's land where few explain what's really going on because of fear or stigma. All the questions are provided to ask the doctors or nurses. I should have had this book in my hands a few years ago. I feel all doctors should provide this book to families and patients who are facing crises. Drew JohnsonWas this review helpful?
