The voices of these five women echo the entire human experience, from silly childhood memories and marital harmony (and cacophony), to coping with the devastating loss of a child and recovering from post-traumatic stress. There are light moments of whimsical poetry and prose, as well as introspective, contemplative pieces that encourage us to look deeper, think broader, and understand more. The thread of humanity in general, and womanhood in particular, is woven through the fabric of this collaboration in such a way that readers will be able to relate, empathize, sympathize, chuckle, and imagine along with the writers as they join them at Sophia's Table.
