Overview

In Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, in the seventies, nothing happens. Every day. Teenagers Declan Lydon and his trusted friend Spit Maguire stand under lampposts waiting to be overtaken by some hormonal storm, to be enveloped by strange women, to finally make some connection with the glorious, glamorous world they know is out there somewhere. Their salvation comes through music. When, miraculously, Thin Lizzy come to town, Declan goes in to the concert in his brown cardigan and emerges wearing a black leather jacket...

Sophisticated Boom Boom is a tender, hilarious account of the agonies and absurdities of growing up in a backwater of pebbledash and Space Invaders. Crucially, though, this is a love letter to the period and the place, and to the liberating, healing power of music that galvanises and transforms.

    SGK entering...

The Start of the End at cim. The result are all mixed up, and the fourth part was accidently posted before it was ready. So, if you want, you can only judge the first three parts.

Gates of Olympus--Morning Rising--Fire and Ice

There sere so many great stories, and I wish I could give all of them a high place, but I can't. After lots of asking my younger brother, tearing out my hair, and hard work, I have found the top three stories.

In third place...is...Morning Rising at 'morning' results! This is a story about two young she-cats training to become a warrior and medicine cat. I think the prolouge is at result 8, to let that start your reading. The author will receive one week of ads their choice in Dawn's Ads! More info at bottom

In second place...is...drumroll...Fire and Ice by Violet! It is qt 'saz' results 1-8. This story is excellent. She will even accept character apps! Wow? Violet will receive two weeks of ads in Dawn's Ads. More info at bottom.

In FIRST PLACE...IS...drumroll please...at 'sws' results...is Gates of Olympus by Seth! Again, you really need to read all these stories, but read this one at 'sws' results! Seth will receive three whole weeks of ads in Dawns Ads! (P.S. check out his symbol quide at 'scs' result 3 and on! That's where I learned to do this: &#9618&#9372&#9376&#9380 mwahaha! Feel the awesomeness! Jk.)

All competitors did amazing, but these three ended up in the top. If each one of these authors would contact me at result 8, then I can ask you what ad you would like in Dawns Ads. Thank you!

Death Twins Of The Fire Arena, part 12

Next part at next result. And Pip are you the only one reading? --- My eyes flutter open. The first thing I see, although my sight is blurry, is Percy and Nico, hovered over me. "I hate my life." I say. They nod, as if they understand the feeling. Someone bursts in. "I got here as fast as I could." She pants. I realize her voice. Pip Gemmond, daughter of Artemis. "Pip." I say. She smiles. "Hey. How are ya feeling?" She asks. I nod. "How did you get here? It's illegal!" I exclaim. A sly smile flashes across her face. "I know someone." Ah. One of the wonderful qualities of Pip. ---DTOFA
