More About This Book

Overview

Kat O’Connor is no pushover. She’s a no nonsense girl with a commonsense approach to life. But there’s nothing common about what’s happening to her lately…

First she was forced to have a kinky mind ménage with two of the hottest and most irritating men in the galaxy—Twin Kindred warriors, Deep and Lock—in order to locate her kidnapped friend. Then she couldn’t get their feelings out of her head. And now she’s on her way to their home planet, Twin Moons, to find a cure for the debilitating illness their unorthodox joining caused, when all she really wants to do is go home.

Locks Tight, the light twin of the two, is already in love with Kat. Her curvy plus-sized body is the epitome of beauty on his home planet and her sharp mind makes her doubly attractive. But though he fell for her the moment he saw her, Twin Kindred are unable to mate a woman alone. Lock knows nothing can happen between them without his brother…

Stabs Deep. The dark twin has a secret agony in his past—a tragedy he feels he and he alone is to blame for. He too, hungers for Kat, but he hides his fear of rejection behind an impenetrable wall of angry sarcasm. For if he lets anyone get too close, the unbearable pain he has already endured once may happen again.

Now Kat and her twin warriors are on a quest—but they’re all looking for different things. Kat wants to find a way to dissolve the half-formed bond between them so she can be alone in her own head again. Lock wants to convince both her and his brother to complete the bond which will keep them together forever. And Deep is trying to protect his heart and love Kat from afar…though it grows more and more difficult to deny the hunger he feels for her growing inside him.

Their travels will take them from the uncharted wilds of Twin Moons to the Deadworld of the Scourge home planet. Will Kat find a cure for having other people’s emotions crowding her mind? Will Lock convince his brother and the woman they both love that they’re all meant to be together forever? And will Deep ever unshield his heart long enough to let Kat in?

You’ll have to read Sought, the third book in the Brides of the Kindred series, to find out…

If you thought handling one melt in your mouth hero was a dream come true try two of them.

If you thought handling one melt in your mouth hero was a dream come true try two of them. Sought is the latest edition to the "Brides of the Kindred" series. It starts off where we left Sophia and her twin warriors in Hunted. Sophia is dying and the twins Deep and Lock (yes those are their names) need to take her to their home planet in order to save her.
I really enjoyed this book and it has actually become my favorite so far of the series. The tension between Sophia and the twins is palpable and the sex scenes are so hot It will leaving you squirming in your seats. This is not however just some erotic novel with nothing, but sex. "Sought" actually has a lot of humorous and tender moments between the characters. We also see a lot of growth in the Sophia as well as the twins while on their journey. As we all know too well opening your heart can be dangerous, but as the characters learn the reward is well worth the risk.
It is highly recommended that you read the first two books in the series to understand some of the things that are going on, though it is not necessary to enjoy the book because these characters do absolutely fine on their own.

    None

A good story line....but the inner turmoil between Kat and the boys really started to get on my nerves. I was ready to scream I get it already. Deep and Kat are having trouble admitting their feeling. I'm not sure why the author felt the need to drag that out so much. I started out really enjoying the book but by the end was really disappointed.

Excellent series. As some of the other reviewers said, I did get a bit frustrated with Kat and her distrust. In my case, I was actually less irritated with her than I had been with Sophie in Book 2. That being said, both characters were very believable in their stances and opinions and reactions.

This is one of those books that has me wanting to get to the end so I can find out what happens while at the same time I want it to keep going and going because it is so interesting. I have already purchased books 4 and 5.

Note to author: I appreciate the fact that while you have made this a series with multiple books, you do it with BOOKS - each of which is a complete story on its own while leading into the next. I refuse to buy books from authors who write incomplete "books" just so you have to purchase yet another - I am so glad that this author does NOT do that.

Sex is a plot device for everything

Need healing? Have sex. Need to travel on an astral plane? Sex. Hide your scent from predators? Sex. Save a hot alien from dying of deprevation? You guessed it....sex! The books are predictable but they are also fun and (duh!) sexy. Read it with low expectations and a high libido, and have a grand ole time!

All three book so far have been a good read. You don't want to stop. So I am buying the next two books. Great plot, full of heart stopping moments.

    Kat, Lock, & Deep

If you're considering reading this AMAZING novel, I'm assuming that you've already devoured the first 2 Kindred books as I did. Youre also probably dying to know what exactly a Twin Kindred is like..wink wink. Well this book does not disappoint! Not only do you get a great Twin perspective, you get a whole new world! Spoiler Alert, Twin Moons!

There are many things that are getting out of control with the series. Too bad because it has potential.
Seriously, Evangeline Anderson has a really good story going on here but she needs to learn to disassociate minor characters from her story and let the main character shine. It gets to the point that you are really questioning whose story you are reading about. There are ways to go about those things and it seems that she is trying very hard to fully share the lives of her characters that she misses the mark, and by missing the mark I mean the entire target. With this book, I'm finding myself skipping around to try and piece together Xairn's and Lauren's story so i can quickly move to their book/story instead of bothering reading Kat's story. Sad! There are so many pit falls with this book. Come on, i really don't want to read about Liv's new eating habits and Sophi's sudden hyperactive sexual life. They had their book and if the author felt that she needed to put too much conflict and not enough sexual action in their book, then that was the author's choice. But please MOVE ON already. They had their chance to shine, or lack thereof, in their own books so let them be. That dirty laundry is starting to stink like rotten garbage. I had it with Liv, Sophi, and Kat (and I'm trying really hard to get through with her story). I think they are overly hormonal, too over the top, and too self-center at times. It seems like I'm reading the same character from book 1 and 2 but with different names. Man is good to have controversy, especially internal turmoi, but you gotta have some limits. I just hope that when i get to book 4 things get better in staying on focus. Xairn and Lauren have great potential but Liv, Sophie, and Kat can easily screw their story up really quick.

    Totally Awesome!

This book has been the best out the series so far! I had to have emotionally cried in it at least 3 times. I just love Deep and think he is an amazing character! Lock is just as great and Kat is a plus sized, tough, not push over, chick which I can relate too. I totally would recommend this to erotica readers! Buuuuut you have to read Books 1 & 2 first to really get the story line because they build up to this one! :)

    Sexy...but a little off-putting

I really like this series and loved the first 2 stories. This is a sexy concept, but I winced a little every time the method of 'loving' was discussed....

    OK

This book was ok. I thought that the first two books were better. The back story of the ALL Farters son was better than the story of Kat and the boys.

I actually bought this book off smashwords because barnes and noble didnt have it at the time i found it. Anyhow this is a great series by Evangeline Anderson and I have loved all 3 of the books in the series so far and am eagerlly awaiting the 4th book "FOUND". All the story plots are great and inter related. Love them

    What Happened?

Book 1 was awesome, the main character was conflicted about leaving her life, sister, friend and career behind but was still portrayed as a strong woman. In books 2 & 3 the females are portrayed as victims and self conscious to the extreme. Learning about how mating was done and being freaked out
why didn't she ask more questions? This story was definately different but communication between the 3 was lacking, conflict went on far too long and when finally consumated I no longer cared and was looking for book 4.
