I had a very interesting time reading this book...

What I found most surprising was the balance of ideas, the back and forth of science and religion. The author does a commendable job of stating both sides clearly and with as much impartiality as humanly possible. I have to say the chapter on transmigration of DNA was my favorite, very interesting take on the idea of reincarnation...

Refreshing The book ┬┐Soul and Reincarnation┬┐ consists of 9 chap

    Refreshing

The book “Soul and Reincarnation” consists of 9 chapters, each dealing with a topic in itself: 1. Faith and Science; 2. Soul: It’s Relationship to God and Spirituality; 3. The Awakening of the Soul; 4. Spirituality/Soul and Religion; 5. Seat of Soul: The Right Brain; 6. The Concept of Soul; 7. Soul, Science and Energy; 8. Soul Transmigration/ Reincarnation; 9. Transmigration of DNA, 10. The chapters precede by Introduction, and are followed by Conclusions, and. a summary of the main ISSUES on Soul.

The author has taken the facts from various sources and created a blend of science and faith to explain soul and reincarnation. But you don't find fake stories, miracles and supernatural powers which will be against his scientific training. He blends faith and science in the very first chapter on “Faith and Science.” In the next chapters he discusses soul and its relationship to God. In chapter 5 he discusses seat of soul and function of right brain as compared to logical left brain. In the last chapters he discusses reincarnation concept and uses concept of energy and DNA. You don’t need science degree to understand his use of science.

Whether you are religious, spiritual or a believer of science and technology, you will have a fresh perspective about soul and what happens to it after the death. It is easy to read book that changes your outlook towards life. Author’s skillful use of scientific knowledge and his knowledge of Eastern cultures about religious traditions provides a very unique blend of science and religion.

[The author gives quotes not only from religious scriptures such as Bhagavad Gita but Bible, Guru Granth, all the swamis, philosophers, scientists, and so on. What he is emphasizing is that God is within us. God is not outside the world. I would suggest the reader to read the entire book to understand the mysteries about soul and reincarnation. This is not new age book but most balanced and refreshing view about this mysterious phenomenon.

Although there are books covering various aspects of soul and reincarnation and every religion have its own view, this is a very easy-to-read book with fresh perspective on this much needed aspect of nature’s mystery. ]

I would highly recommend “Soul and Reincarnation” that is now available on Barnes & Noble and Amazon as well as from other book sellers world-wide. It's available in both digital and printed edition.

    Very Interesting

I had a very interesting time reading this book. It can seem a little daunting to read something that picks apart many aspects of spirituality, but this book is worth looking into.

What I found most surprising was the balance of ideas, the back and forth of science and religion. The author does a commendable job of stating both sides clearly and with as much impartiality as humanly possible. I have to say the chapter on transmigration of DNA was my favorite, very interesting take on the idea of reincarnation. Even if you don't agree with it, you can see the validity of the theory. I also enjoyed the last section, which listed the many issues that exist when trying to prove the existence of souls and reincarnation. Again, very balanced overview.

As with any book that deals with religion, it might not be for everyone. Although it would be wonderful if very religious people would read it, I doubt they'd find it half as informative as it's meant to be. I can only hope that some of the spiritual people out there will pick it up. It's well worth the attention.
