Finding some of the characters, to be a favorite of mine. Not all of some of them have their moments. Another good volume.

The Baba Yaga castle arc is one of the best in the series, and the concluding chapters are excellent. The partnership between Maka and Soul is at it's very best here. Their relationship is balanced, as opposed to the usual irrational Maka/wise mentor Soul. Add the well drawn battle scenes, Medusa's plotting and Kid's unfortunate situation and, well, there's a lot of good stuff going on!
