Great Show Series, and Great Manga

I have Seen all the english dubbed episodes and I dont know if the book series goes further than the episodes. Are there further adventures past the plot of episode 51 "The Words is Bravery"? I really hope they make a new season soon.

VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED (from a person that has over 70 books of different series!)

I hightly recommend this series and all the characters are well drawn. My favorite character is Kid. For start he's Death's son and his personality. I love how he has to have everything symmetrical (That's the same with me!). I watched the anime and loved it so I had to read the manga.

    I Also Recommend:

The Prologues ('cause there is more than one) and the Beginning

Soul Eater rocks with the humor and unique design. This is definitely a series to buy, cause you'll just want to read and reread over and over again 'cause it's just that fun to read.

    Cool

Soul Eater is one of the most popular manga out in Japan. Everyone enjoys the dark/comedy/action themes in this manga.

    Who needs a headline?

I absolutly love the manga and anime. It is my favorite. I find the story very funny, and the plot very well thought out. My favorite character is Kid because of the role he plays and his personality I think the author is very good, and I recommend the book to any reader, because anyone can relate to it. It may be a bit strange at first, but it is truely amazing. I do not recommend this book to younger children though. I think the reader should be about 11, 12, or older, depending on maturity.

Slick Action and Offbeat Characters Make for Excellent Series Debut

Just by reading the first few pages, it's easy to realize this is a series that is difficult to compare to any other. Granted, the basic plotline of an international group sending teenagers to fight demons and the like is tried-and-true territory, but where this series truly shines is the eccentricity of the characters. Individuals like Black Star and Death the Kid are what make Soul Eater stand out from the rest. The comedy finds that delicate balance where sexual humor can be mildly perverted but not disgusting, something many series out there fail to accomplish. However, what sells this series is the action which is creative and well-executed through the panels. Barnes & Noble stocks this volume under "Noteworthy Fiction" for a very good reason. Soul Eater demands to be read.

    Dark Comedy Gold

Here's a simple equation: dark humor, plus supernatural settings, plus transforming weapons, equals Grade A Epic Win. Anyone who's a fan of the Anime (which is the Japanese version of cartoons) (who saw it subbed online) or just wants to get savvy to the series before the English Anime comes out, get it now! It should be warned that there's an age advisory on this title for a reason, and that the Manga (Japanese comic book, which this is) will surpass the Anime in story, giving more backstory to the characters left out of the Anime.

    Pervy with a good storyline

This Manga has a very well developed storyline and awesome characters! The only thing is, it DOES get REALLY pervy!

    Soul Eater rocks

I read this as soon as i saw wat it was about. I instantly fell in love with Ohkubo's style of story and art. I do suggest caution as this book is not well sencered, so watch out for that. Its also a bit strange at first but i assure you that you will fall in love with it. Its my number one manga and anime(which is scheduled to come out in English in 2010). It blew me away. It'll do the same to you. Im not lieing when i say it will captivate your mind.
