Aaron Dembski-Bowden is a author with his beginnings in the videogame and RPG industries. He was the Senior Writer on the million-selling MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. He's been a deeply entrenched fan of Warhammer 40,000 ever since he first runied his copy of Space Crusade by painting the models with all the skill expected of an overexcited nine-year-old.

    been a huge fan of warhammer 40000. this book grabs you and brings the reader right into the world. author style, story all keep the reader wanting more.

    If you wanted to know about the Night Lords Legion then read this book.

    The Night Lords are a Traitor Legion but unlike the rest of the Traitor Legions save the Alpha Legion they by and large do not serve the Chaos Lords. They serve to bring down the corrupt Imperium as they see it. The Night Lords origins are shown here and that of their Primarch and his downfall and theirs. It's a excellant addition to the Black Library's stable of Warhammer 40k books. I recommend this book.

    WOW!

    Deembski-Bowden did a fine FINE job with this book. I loved his short story in Heroes of the Space Marines, but haven't read Cadian Blood yet (and now I will with all speed). I really like all of the new story lines coming from BL, I highly suggest you pick them up when you get the chance because they hold there own with the older lines from Abnett, McNeill, Counter, King and the rest of the crew.

    I won't give away too much of the plot but know that this isn't as Chaos-ish as anything written by Counter or Reynolds (but the Night Lords aren't overly Chaos anyway) and that fact is explained fully in the story, but they are still Chaos and the characters are fantastic, memorable and remarkable. This works VERY well, by the end I found myself hating the Imperium of Man and yelling 'NEVER A GOD! KNOW THAT TRUTH AS YOU DIE!!!' Pick it up you will not be disappointed. I can't wait for the sequel.
