How can you save someone who doesnt want to be saved?

For Broni, being stranded on Earth was not the worst possible thing that could happen. Given the opportunity to finally meet Rhys Stone, she decides to take what she can get with what time she has left before her enemies find her.

Rhys is forced to live again by a woman who doesnt understand the word no, and has no shame in offering him anything he wants. It was a great read. This book was more in depth. Can't wait for the 3rd book. A new twist to the story between the Gods and mortals.

It was good but a couple chapters for jumbled so I was a little lost.

This second book went more in depth about why Fate and her daughters are being hunted, though we know some of the puppets, we still have no idea who the puppeteer is! I'm hoping book three will have that info! On another note, why does Ms. Begley insist on writing about super sexy, alpha men that cannot be faithful even if you paid them to be, but the women can't find it within themselves to move on and sleep with other people? I just don't understand that? I liked Broni, she was tough and a fighter but a complete freaking doormat when it came to Rhys, why? He didn't deserve her loyalty, even Mother thought so, but no matter the messed up things he said to her or the other women he slept with, she was hung up on him like a damn puppy dog in heat...that's so sad and pathetic. But of course it wasn't until all his past lives converged into one and the most dominant one took over, the Warrior, that one was faithful and full of love for her...of course that one she didn't want...by then she grew a backbone and had him chasing after her like a damn puppy dog in heat...stupid woman! Read the book...you'll understand! SR
