Somewhat thought provoking with the good vs. Evil aspect and what would you do question.

I had actually become a decent fan of jeff inlo from his delver series. They were decent and fun fantasy books from a new author, so i figured i would give this book a shot. I wasn't horribly disappointed, but this also wasnt the best book he has written. It was written in a first person narrative style, which he actually did fairly well. The backstory of the character was very well thought out, along with the "gifts" the characters had. The idea was interesting, and even slightly thought provoking. There is nothing to make this a great book, but it certainly wasnt bad. If your looking for a way to kill an afternoon or two, dont be afraid to check it out. Also, dont let this book dissuade you from checking out the fantasy books from this author, that genre seems to be his forte.

    Drifted off

The plot was very interesting in the beginning but it slowed down and took one turn too many.

    Just read the first chapter...

I'm not too far into the story, but this book is quite fascinating to me. Unlike most free books, this one is genuinely creative and extremely well-written. No complaints!!! Can't wait to read more!!! =)

    Good read

I like this author. This story takes place right around the corner from where I live making that much more interesting. The story kept my interest just not on the edge of my seat. I will be reading the next one. Thank you Jeff Inlo.

    Different

Started off with a bang. Became very intriguing then kind of left you hanging. That seems to be the way they do it now to keep you reading. This one I think is worth it.

    Mind numbingly boring

I must confess, I only made it to chapter eight but, it took me days to get that far. I have never abandoned a book before but, this one deserved to be my first. I truly made an effort and failed to get interested. If you like books that are consistently repetative and seem to go no where.......have at it. I mean, hey, it's free. I conclude with the regret that there is not an option to give no stars.
