Sweet Story!

This is a sweet romance that definitly shows how the couples relationship started and how much they mean to each other. Not very many spankings in this but is a feel good novel.

    Stan☺

I like the intro! A bit of foreshadowing hides behind Kaida's gothic figure.

Writer's Tip: If you want to tab on the Nook like you can on the computer, type in &n<_>bsp; before the spot you want it, then in your post, about four or five spaces will be in its place!

A pale hand tightened on the flaking iron rail, the rickety stairs creaking under a light footstep. The light was dim, making visibility limited, yet the figure moved forward confidently, unhindered by the darkness.

"Kaida!" A sharp voice rang through the stairwell.

The ascending figure flinched, gritting teeth. "Yes, mother. . . ?"

"Where do you think you're going, young man?" A pasty-skinned, heavy women stepped into the faint light, her eyes sallow and sunken. Her hair was plastered with grease against her skull. She wore a tight black t-shirt and dark "skinny" jeans.

The boy swallowed, his Adam's apple bobbing nervously. "Out, mother. . ."

The women sneered, revealing cracked, mossy yellow teeth. "I know what you're up to. You think you can slip away so you can go girl-hunting."

The boy remained silent, the black tattoo on the right cheek of his face, positioned beside his silver eye, itched, the inky markings feeling as if they were wriggling about.

"'Boy your age should have found the one long 'go!" His mother jeered, "Why, I met your father when I was 6!"

"I'm going out. . ." The boy growled, pulling open the door that topped the staircase, making it let out a god-awful screech. He quickly stepped out and slammed it behind him, making the stairs shudder.

He let out a sigh of relief as the cool night air washed over his slim features, breezing the catcalls and taunts of his half-crazed mother into the distance.

His chin-length black hair gleamed in the moonlight, whispering across his forehead like gentle fingers, wiping away his worries.

His pale skin shone, making him stand out like a vampire in the shadows. A worn, baggy t-shirt fluttered in the wind, brushing against his chest and caressing his shoulders. His pants clung to his thin legs, keeping the same ambient darkness.

His toes felt frozen, no shoes to protect them from the harsh elements, though he ignored the thought, revering only at his apparent freedom.

He would find the one. Eventually. . .

Kaida let his hand drift to the tattoo, tracing the spiraling lines with shivering fingers. It bore a resemblance to raven in flight, though a thick curve wrapped around the underside of the bird, cutting through its left wing, the other end ending just short of the tip of its beak.

    Eventually. . .
