Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

"Speak your mind; unload your questions; and figure out what it means to be human." This book, like Rainn Wilson's namesake website, stands or falls on that motto. By posing questions and challenges, and suggesting activities, SoulPancake the book invites you to cook up life-changing inspiration. Like the website (which has attracted more than a million hits), the book opens doors to creativity, spirituality, truth, love, and science that you never knew existed.

    A MUST READ

I saw Rainn Wislon on Super Soul Sunday & I didn't want to miss a word of what he said...after the show I immediately bought the book...this book is one of the best books i've read...its funny & spiritual...two words you usually don't see together, but should...life should be enjoyed, and when we take it too serious, I really think we miss the spiritual side of it...a must read

    So far, So great!

I've just began the book, but I'm already enthralled with it. I think it will take a bit of time to move through, because each page offers a new thought to ponder and activity to tackle. That's the only frustrating thing! It's so great I want to just sit and read it for hours, but that would mean just blowing through everything so great!

    Breakfast is Ready!

Interactive, Colorful, Delicious, Fantastic. Rainn Wilson and the co-writers are wonderfully inspiring. The book is bursting with new ideas, creative dares, and wild, thought-provoking art. The pages are full of spine-tingling ideas, questions, challenges and themes from a wide spectrum of the human experience. The enormous range of quotes and artistic graphic really draws together everything the title suggest: a well-baked batter for the soul. A great, refreshing idea for a website, and now a book!

The Key To Unlocking Some Of Life's Biggest Mysteries

Whether you buy this book for yourself or you give it as a gift, you will absolutely love this book. It's filled with 180 questions that will blow your mind. What is even better is it provides these questions without being self righteous. I'd also recommend that you buy "When God Stopped Keeping Score," an intimate look at the power of God and forgiveness. Given the chance, it too could change your life.
