I absolutely love this series and Katie Salidas does not disappoint in this fourth installment to an awesome series! We find our favorite characters are back and a few new ones. Alyssa is desperate to find a way to get Lysander’s soul out of a crystal called a Soulstone and back into his withered vampire body. But how? She and her clan are running out of time and someone else has become interested in this stone too. Unfortunately, they will do anything and kill anyone to get it.
Full of action right off the bat, I found Alyssa a lot more likeable in this book than the first in the series. She has definitely matured in her position as a vampire of a clan and now part of a werewolf pack. The Acta Sanctorum is back and ready to unravel Alyssa’s fragile world around her. They are a constant threat that keeps you on your toes as you read along. I love Nicholas!!! He has definitely come around out of his angered mourning from losing his mate Rozaline and kicks some serious butt along with our favorite vampire we love to hate, Santino.
Definitely a great addition to an addicting series. I promise you won’t regret reading this tasty morsel.

I was one of Ms. Salidas lucky winners to have this book in my hot hands. What an enjoyable read. Just means I need to go back to the first book and read the rest. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Katie Salidas has another winner in Soulstone, Immortalis #4. I've been following the series since the beginning and have enjoyed seeing the heroine, Alyssa, grow from a somewhat naive girl into a strong and confident woman.
In the previous book, Pandora's Box, the Peregrinus Clan had won a victory, but suffered some devastating losses. Alyssa's lover and progenitor, Lysander, is left lying in a state between life and death, his soul imprisoned in a mysterious stone. Being the spunky and faithful gal she is, Alyssa can't bear not to do something to help her man. With the aid of a witch, a former agent of her arch enemy Acta Santorum and a reluctant pack of werewolves, Alyssa and her clan set out to free Lysander's soul.
The book is fast paced with healthy doses of humor and interesting action sequences, and I was excited to see Alyssa taking charge of the situation, despite her companions' trepidation. An enjoyable read for vampire and urban fantasy fans!

Fan’FREAKING’tastic Just like the first 3 in this AWESOME Series. You can find my reviews of the others in this series here.
I love this series and I could not wait to devour this book. Soulstone picks up right where Pandora’s Box ends with Lysander’s soul stuck in the soulstone. Alyssa will do anything to get Lysander’s soul back in his body and out of the soulstone. That includes enlisting the help of the local witch coven of Boston. What she did not expect was for the High Priestess to sell them out the the Acta Sanctorum. When the Acta Sanctorum gets involved again it ends the same in bloodshed. Many lives were lost including The Alpha of the local wolf pack. But that did not stop Alyssa and her group well family to take out that small faction of the Acta Sanctorum and make things right again well as right as they can be. Many things happen in this book that you do not want to miss like was Alyssa and her new family able to return Lysander’s Soul to his body. And how things change once Aiden takes over the position of Alpha of The Olde Town Pack. Are alliances broken?
This is a page turner just like the others in this series. This is one of my top fave vampire series. Katie builds a wonderful world with awesome characters. When you read this it will leave you waiting more.
