My sons, now both in college, loved this book. They read every sequel available. The adventures kept them rocking and the humor was a total delight.

My son (10) had to read this book for a school report. He loved it so much we bought the sequel.

This is a good book but you shouldn't waste your money on it because it is very short. It would be a good book if you were younger.

I first read this book in 1981- in fifth grade. I adored it then & have looked for the whole series for my daughter but its sadly out of print. I am hoping a digital copy becomes available of them all! ( Soup in Love, Soup on Wheels, Soup & Me, etc). This is a wonderful book for boys as well as girls. (I'm a female & its been a favorite series for 30 years). Enjoy!

This is a wonderful series for the 8 to 12 range. Easy to read but fun for readers of every age. I would not consider the Soup series to be gender specific. A healthy portrayal of childhood.
