    Only gets better!

In SoM, Anthony's second Xanth novel everything gets better. Another pun-filled quest, the introduction of Grundy, and more Magician Humphrey. You can't go wrong.

First Grundy Golem book, it's a keeper!!!!!

This book, the sequel of Spell for Chameleon, is definitely an instant classic. I really enjoyed reading it, and just flew through the pages. The only problem I had with the book was Bink. He was one of my favorite characters in Spell, but in this book...well, I won't ruin it, but he's so full of himself and doing what is morally right that he risks everything and everyone. Still, this was the first book with Grundy the Golem (I love that little guy) which easily made up for Bink being pig-headed. I loved it!

    FantastiK

I really liked this book. It is better to read A Spell for Chameleon first though. The Source of Magic is great, it is probably the best of the earlier Xanth novels. With a great plot and an ever better climax.

    Best Xanth Book to Date!

Once again, the author proves his exeptional talent in The Source of Magic, the second in the Xanth series. Bink, Crombie, The Good Magician Humphrey, and Chestur journey to find the source of magic.

    Bink continues

Another magical pun filled book. Bink is back, with even more adventure. Bink quest: To find the source of magic. This is not as good as the first book, but you still have dragons and Murphy. Book ends with Dor starting a quest.
