I don't enjoy cooking and my husband is a picky eater, bad combination! He's a diabetic with difficulty controlling sugar levels so I got this cookbook to see if I could get him to eat different things. Wow, he loves the recipes I've tried and I do too! They are fairly quick and easy to make and taste delicious. The Tilapia Marguarita is so good, we have it every week! I had the hard copy first, but got the ebook so I could have the recipes while shopping. My husbands sugar levels are low and stable for the first time since he developed diabetes. Sometimes he doesn't need insulin for many days in a row, which encourages him even more. I put almost all the other cookbooks into storage, I don't need them!

I am a newbie to the South Beach Diet, so this cookbook has been like my Bible. Great recipes, and it also leads me to develop my own recipes from THESE base recipes. I think it is a MUST for anyone trying to do the South Beach Diet.

I bought this cookbook as a "side-kick" for the 'South Beach Diet". South Beach is just a better way of eating and has two phases. Phase I sounds like drastic measures so I skipped right into phase II and the recipes in this cookbook. Lots of good ideas for anyone not just dieters. My husband and I have gradually (the best way) lost weight over this spring.
