Mo Zae's debut album, South Bound, has a little bit of the hardcore Southern sound of Master P plus the sound of Georgia state-mates like Outkast, giving tracks like "Sticks-N-Stones" and "What We Be Bout" a smooth feel that still doesn't sacrifice their toughness. Several tracks also feature Atlanta rhythm-section regulars like bassist Preston Crump and guitarist Fletcher Dozier, and South Bound was produced by Sol Messiah.
