I had to read this book during my senior year of high school. My teacher was friends with Eddy Harris. He asked the class questions that made them think about race relations. He quizzed us on the Confederate Flag issue of our home state, South Carolina. The book is very well written. Harris uses a great deal of symbolism and there's a bit of irony, but that's life. Not everything is cut and dry. I found the book to be very emotional and I would definitely recommend that others read it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
